On behalf of the Organising Committee, we are thrilled to extend our warmest invitation to the Obstetric Anaesthesia Special Interest Symposium 2024 (OASIS24),  an event that promises to enrich your knowledge and strengthen our shared commitment to exceptional care for wahine. Our two-day event, set against the picturesque backdrop of Napier, is tailored to empower you with essential skills and insights in the field of Anaesthesia for Obstetrics and Gynae-Oncology.

 

Day 1: Major Obstetric Haemorrhage and Anaphylaxis workshops with an obstetric focus, and which fulfils the requirements as an Emergency Response Activity for participants of the ANZCA and FPM CPD program.

Day 2 promises to be equally thought-provoking, with lectures presented by experts from National Women's Health, Te Toka Tumai, Auckland. Embrace a multidisciplinary perspective on obstetric anaesthesia and explore the latest advancements in complex maternal conditions and gynae-oncology, well-being topics and emerging technologies. Our goal is to provide you with valuable insights that will elevate your practice and positively impact patient care.​

Beyond the classroom, we invite you to unwind and enjoy our celebrated social events - enjoy the best of local NZ cuisine whilst  fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and professional exchange.

Emergency Response workshops

Anaphylaxis and Major Haemorrhage

Obstetric-focused Emergency Response workshops will be available in both Major Haemorrhage and Anaphylaxis Management. Both are accredited within the ANZCA and FPM CPD Programs for Emergency Response Activities.

 

Each of these small group interactive seminars will be available for either morning (10.30am to 12pm ) or​ afternoon (1 to 2.30pm) sessions and are limited to 25 participants per session.

The bus will leave for the venue  promptly at 6pm from the Napier War Memorial Centre. Please be on time!

Return buses will leave the River Room at 10pm and 11pm and return you to the Napier War Memorial Centre.
