It was with huge pleasure that we welcomed delegates from Aotearoa and Australia to OASIS22.  We kicked off events at the Clinical Education Center, Auckland City Hospital, by introducing our new Perioperative Communication and Shared Decision Making with Patients workshop alongside our Emergency Response Obstetric Anaphylaxis and Haemorrhage workshops.

On Saturday we held our Symposium at The Maritime Room, in the heart of Auckland's Viaduct Harbour. Our programme included a well-being session covering welfare for the anaesthetist, protecting ourselves medicolegally and Women's mental health issues, as well as updates internationally and from our own experiences at Women's Health, Auckland City Hospital. 

The long anticipated social events began with a mix and mingle at the B. Braun Welcome Reception on the sun drenched Harbour Deck of the Lula Inn, complimented with gin tasting hosted by Juno Gin. As a finale, our Conference Dinner took place at The Grove, with lively conversation and laughter, amongst fine dining and world-class service that earned The Grove the title '15th best in the world' in TripAdvisor 2021!
