OASIS26 - Poster Submission Guidelines

ANZCA trainees and other allied health professionals are invited to submit a poster for presentation at OASIS26’s scientific programme on the 28th of March 2026 (Saturday).

​

10 posters will be selected for display on the day, with 4 posters shortlisted for an oral presentation to a panel. The winning poster will be announced the end of the day, with a gift prize of $600 presented.

​

Shortlisting of posters will be based on the abstracts submitted.

Poster Category:

Posters must feature Women’s Health – this may involve care of the mother and baby in obstetric anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, general gynaecology, gynae-oncology, or acute/chronic pain. Categories that are accepted include:

​

  • Audit

  • Quality improvement

  • Case reports

  • Education and training

  • Research

  • Patient survey

​

Posters must be the original work of the author and you will be required to submit an abstract that will be published at the OASIS26 conference handbook.

 

Poster Template:

This is a physical presentation, so posters must be printed for display at the conference.

​

All posters must follow these criteria:

​

  • A0 size (84.1cm x 118.9cm)

  • In portrait orientation

  • Subdivided into: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, References

  • Text size and font is at the discretion of the authors but text must be clear and legible

  • Colour is recommended, particularly for imagery

  • All posters must have a title at the top, in bold.

 

Exhibiting Poster & Judging Criteria:

All posters will be displayed throughout the scientific programme. We encourage a representative for each poster to be present during the conference break times to answer any questions that attendees viewing your poster may have.

Judging of the oral presentations will take place at lunchtime during the scientific programme.

​

Shortlisted candidates will be given 5 minutes to present their poster to a panel of judges, followed by 2 minutes of questions.

The winner of the oral presentation prize will be announced at the end of the scientific programme. The selection of the winner will be based on:

​

  • Relevance and impact to practice

  • Clarity of the poster and oral presentation

  • The overall responses to the panel’s questions.

 

How to Submit Poster:

Please email oasis26@confer.co.nz by the 14th of December 2025 with your abstract (see Abstract Submission instructions). Accepted posters for display and oral presentations will be contacted by the 26th of January 2026.

Important Information:

Please note that submitting a poster does not register you for the conference. Registration must be completed separately.

Early-bird registration closes on the 18th of January 2026.

​

There must be one representative present at the scientific conference for each poster submitted.

​

We recommend that you arrive early at the conference to put your posters up for display.

There is access to The Domes from 8am, with registration commencing at 9.30am.
