OASIS26 - Abstract Submission Guidelines

OASIS strongly supports all forms of quality improvement and research. The organising committee invites prospective authors to submit their abstracts for presentation at the scientific programme on the 28th of March 2026.

All accepted abstracts will be presented at the poster session, and abstracts will be published in the conference handbook.

Authors must ensure information regarding patient consent is included with their abstract submission.

  • Authors are required to submit their abstract to oasis26@confer.co.nz by the 14th of December 2025 with the subject title ‘Abstract Submission for OASIS26’.

  • Submitted abstracts be able to be amended so please ensure your final copy is accurate prior to submission.

​

  • We will not be able to accept any abstract submissions after this date.

​

  • Authors must ensure they obtain the relevant consent approvals submitting their abstract and ensure their abstract meets all consent and ethics requirements applicable to their institution.

  • Notification of the acceptance of the abstracts for poster and oral presentations will be sent to the presenter via email by the

​

  • All presenters must register as a delegate at the conference.

​

  • Your abstract must not exceed 600 words, including spaces and references. Tables, graphs, diagrams, and internet links are not accepted.

​

  • The submitting author will receive an email confirmation confirming receipt of their abstract. Please check your junk folder as well. If you have not received any confirmation within 24 hours, please contact oasis26@confer.co.nz

Abstract Text

 

Excluding title, authors (full given first name and family name) and institution, the abstract must not exceed 600 words including spaces. Any references must be included in this allowance.

​

All abstracts must be written using the following format:

  • Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References, Acknowledgements.

  • For case reports: Introduction, Description, Discussion, References, Acknowledgements.

​

Authors must include their ethics approval number (if applicable) and note if they have a conflict of interest in their abstract.
